Aluminium Cans Recycled
A BIG thank you to the residents of Ruskington and Sleaford (and the surrounding areas) for filling the collection boxes to help the Helipads For Hospitals Charity. There are three such receptacles – located at the St Georges Campus Ruskington, Girls High School Sleaford and the Winchelsea Centre Ruskington – and all were full when emptied on November 5th. The aluminium drinks cans will be recycled and the monies obtained used to help build a helipad at a local hospital. (The Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham and the Glenfield Hospital in Leicester do not currently have such facilities.)
Any aluminium cans can be recycled – drinks beer etc (but not food cans).
